1.Introduction
JobLeap is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you use our website, platform, and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2.Information We Collect
We collect information about you in the following ways:
- Personal information, such as name, email address, phone number, and company name, which you provide to us when you sign up for our Services, subscribe to our newsletter, or communicate with us.
- Operational data from customer systems, such as shift records, worker identifiers, credentials, availability, and placement outcomes, which we receive from healthcare employers and staffing suppliers integrated with JobLeap. We process this data on behalf of those customers under our agreements with them.
- Usage information, such as log data, device information, and information about your use of our Services, which we automatically collect when you use our Services.
- Cookies and similar technologies, which we use to collect information about your use of our Services and to improve your user experience.
3.How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide our Services, including to create and manage your account, process payments, and communicate with you about your account and our Services.
- Operate the orchestration platform: detect open shifts, route them to qualified suppliers, evaluate candidates, and confirm placements on behalf of our customers.
- Improve our Services, develop new products and features, and analyze trends and usage patterns.
- Protect our rights and property and comply with legal obligations.
4.Sharing Your Information
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, payment processing, and customer support.
- Between customers participating in an orchestration flow. For example, sharing relevant worker credentials and availability with a healthcare employer when a supplier proposes a worker for an open shift, and sharing shift details with suppliers we route demand to.
- In response to a legal request or when we believe it is necessary to protect our rights or property or the safety of our users or others.
5.Roles & Responsibilities
For operational data that healthcare-employer and staffing-supplier customers transmit to JobLeap to operate the orchestration platform (such as shift records, worker identifiers, and credentials), JobLeap acts as a processor or service provider on behalf of those customers, and processes that data in accordance with our agreement with them. For account, platform usage, and marketing data described in this policy, JobLeap acts as the controller.
6.Healthcare Data
JobLeap is not a HIPAA-covered entity. To the extent any data we process on behalf of a healthcare-employer customer constitutes Protected Health Information (PHI), we process it under a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with that customer. Customers must not transmit PHI through the platform absent such an agreement.
7.Your Choices
You have certain choices about how we use and disclose your information, including the ability to opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us. You can also choose to disable cookies in your browser settings.
8.Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from you against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9.Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to changing legal, technical, or business developments. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website.
