Advance your nursing career as a Wound Care/Treatment Nurse (RN) in a long-term care setting. You will provide specialized skin care under the guidance of nursing leadership, ensuring optimal resident well-being through expert wound management.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct wound care and oversee treatment practices
- Identify, plan, and evaluate residents’ skin care
- Manage and treat various skin disorders
- Conduct weekly skin rounds
- Perform assessments and inspections
- Collaborate in care planning and resident education
- Maintain accurate documentation and supplies tracking
- Support and mentor new nursing staff
Qualifications
- Current RN license
- Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred
- Wound care/treatment certification preferred (facility may certify eligible candidates)
