Advance your career as a Wound Care / Treatment Nurse (RN) in a long-term care environment. You will play a crucial part in providing focused skin care and treatment under the guidance of nursing leadership, prioritizing wound therapy and prevention for facility residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and provide direct wound care and skin assessment
  • Identify, plan, implement, and evaluate skin care strategies
  • Treat and manage specific skin disorders
  • Coordinate weekly skin rounds and assess needs
  • Collaborate with the care planning team for holistic approaches
  • Provide education to residents and caregivers on skin care and prevention
  • Monitor supplies for prevention and treatment
  • Support and train new nursing staff in wound care procedures
  • Modify treatment regimens as necessary following medical protocols
Qualifications
  • Active RN license required
  • Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred
  • Wound care certification preferred (training offered)
