Join a compassionate healthcare team at Gulf Coast Health And Rehabilitation LLC, where you'll provide specialized wound care and treatment nursing for residents under the oversight of the Director of Nursing. This role emphasizes treatment, therapy, and prevention of skin disorders, collaborating with attending physicians and care teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and deliver wound care in accordance with treatment protocols
  • Assess skin conditions, plan and implement treatment regimens
  • Perform assessments using observation and evaluation techniques
  • Collaborate with the Care Planning Team to develop resident plans
  • Educate residents and caregivers on prevention and skin care maintenance
  • Precept and demonstrate techniques to new nursing personnel
  • Track supplies and assist in modifying treatment regimens as needed
Qualifications
  • Current LPN license required
  • Experience with long-term or geriatric care preferred
  • Wound care/treatment certification is an advantage (facility can assist with certification)
