About the job
This opportunity allows you to become an integral member of a cardiovascular diagnostic team, performing complete echocardiographic studies for a distinguished healthcare organization. Focus is on both adult and pediatric patient populations, utilizing advanced cardiac sonography procedures in both clinic and outreach settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive echocardiograms using various imaging modalities
- Accurately document patient data and examination details
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to analyze findings
- Orient and educate students, trainees, and other staff members
- Adhere to on-call, outreach, weekend, and holiday coverage requirements
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or graduate of an accredited sonography program
- Experience in cardiac sonography, including transesophageal and stress echo, preferred
- Registered or registry-eligible for RDCS or RCS within one year of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Valid Minnesota and/or Wisconsin driver's license required
