About the job

Evaluate and treat residents experiencing speech, hearing, swallowing, or cognitive challenges in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. Work within state and federal guidelines, providing quality care in an interdisciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administer prescribed speech therapy treatments to patients
Perform patient evaluations and OASIS assessments as appropriate
Develop and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with patients, caregivers, and physicians
Deliver rehabilitative interventions to improve communicative efficiency
Document cases thoroughly and participate in other assigned duties

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited speech pathology program
Licensed as a speech-language pathologist in Washington State
