This Weekend RN Shift Supervisor role is crucial for leading nursing services during assigned shifts in a long-term care facility. The position involves organizing operations, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality, compliant patient care according to federal, state, and local standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the nursing services department during assigned weekend shifts
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services
• Supervise resident care and conduct compliance rounds
• Complete all required medical forms, reports, and evaluations
• Supervise Nursing Assistants, LPNs, and charge nurses
• Assist in staff counseling, scheduling, and ensuring adequate shift coverage

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in good standing with current licensure
• Minimum 3 years of nurse management/supervision experience
• Prior experience in hospital or long-term care management required
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and documentation skills
• Computer literacy
