Key Responsibilities
- Deliver wound care and treatment for residents as directed by physicians and facility protocols
- Assess skin conditions, plan and implement treatments, and monitor progress
- Coordinate weekly skin rounds and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with care teams to develop and adjust resident care plans
- Instruct and supervise new nursing personnel in wound care procedures
- Track supply usage and assist in adapting treatments to resident needs
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
- Wound care certification preferred (facility may provide training/certification)
