About the job

This role is for a Registered Nurse Supervisor who will oversee the operations of nursing services during assigned shifts to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance in a long-term care facility. Responsibilities include team leadership, care supervision, staff evaluation, and interdisciplinary coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and care delivery during assigned shift
• Assist Director of Nursing with organizing, directing, and evaluating department activities
• Coordinate services with other resident care programs
• Conduct compliance rounds and implement plans to resolve issues
• Manage resident admissions and ensure readiness
• Counsel, evaluate, and manage nursing personnel
• Assist in scheduling and staffing

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in good standing (state-licensed)
• At least 3 years of nurse management or supervisory experience
• Hospital or long-term care experience preferred
• Leadership, assessment, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
