About the job
Become part of a caring team responsible for delivering patient-centered nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility. This role performs comprehensive nursing duties and supports patient wellbeing, growth, and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Take and monitor patients' vital signs
- Perform basic care tasks (bandage changes, catheter insertion)
- Observe and report any changes in patient health
- Prepare patients for care, explain procedures, and listen to concerns
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Provide immunizations as required
- Mentor CNAs and other nursing assistants
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in good standing with Federal and State requirements
- Basic nursing competency skills
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
