Key Responsibilities
- Take patient vital signs and document statistics
- Perform basic patient care, such as changing bandages and inserting catheters
- Monitor residents for health, mood, and behavioral changes; report as needed
- Prepare patients for care and explain procedures
- Administer medications and immunizations
- Mentor and collaborate with CNAs or NAs
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in good standing
- Meets all federal and state licensure requirements
- Basic nursing competency
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Graduate of accredited school of licensed practical nursing
