Key Responsibilities
- Deliver resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care and rehabilitation environment.
- Assess, monitor, and document residents' health and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments, maintaining compliance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate and support residents and families regarding care plans.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation as per state and federal regulations.
- Supervise and mentor nursing assistants to guarantee quality care.
- Foster a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong clinical skills in geriatric and rehabilitation care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Patient-focused, compassionate approach
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
