Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care as a Pharmacist at Senior Care Pharmacy in Northport, AL. You will provide safe and timely medications to long-term-care residents, oversee workflows, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for efficacy, safety, and appropriateness
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and dispensing operations
• Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and caregivers on therapy interventions
• Respond to medication-related inquiries and provide clinical expertise
• Train and support pharmacy staff
• Take on-call responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Unrestricted state pharmacy licensure
• 1 year long-term-care pharmacy experience preferred
• Leadership and supervisory skills preferred
• Ability to multitask, analyze, and make independent decisions
• Proficiency in English and basic computer skills
• Age 21 or older
