Nutrition Assistant

About the job

Contribute to the nutritional well-being of students by preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of foods in a school setting. This role also involves maintaining a clean environment and supporting food preparation duties as directed.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, bake, and serve foods in quantity
• Maintain kitchen and serving areas in a sanitary condition
• Train and guide other staff as needed
• Assist in inventory and record keeping related to meals and ingredients

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to follow food preparation procedures and safety standards
• Prior relevant food service experience is appreciated
• Must provide proof of credentials for hiring
