Medical Assistants work in a collaborative health and wellness center, providing culturally sensitive and age-appropriate care for students. This full-time position involves supporting providers, administering vaccines, conducting lab tests, and assisting with various clinical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and collect health information
- Perform and document physical assessments and interventions
- Administer injections and vaccines
- Conduct and interpret point-of-care tests (e.g., strep, Covid, urinalysis)
- Collect laboratory specimens and perform technical procedures (e.g., EKG, wound care)
- Communicate effectively with patients and team
Qualifications
- Medical assistant certification or equivalent (e.g., LNA/EMT)
- CPR certification
- Two years clinical experience preferred
- Commitment to multicultural care
Physical and Work Environment

- Occasional evening/weekend duties
