About the job
Take on a leadership role in a high-performing healthcare team as an MDS Coordinator (RN). Oversee accurate and timely MDS assessments and ensure clinical, regulatory, and reimbursement excellence in a caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, complete, and submit MDS assessments per CMS RAI Manual
- Conduct resident and family care plan meetings
- Monitor documentation for accurate coding and compliance
- Manage scheduling systems for resident assessments
- Chair weekly and daily Medicare compliance meetings
- Participate in quality improvement activities and data submission
- Collaborate with billing for proper reimbursement
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing
- Active and current RN license
- At least one year’s experience with MDS/RAI process
- Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
