This opportunity is with a dedicated long-term care facility emphasizing supportive rehabilitation and patient-centered nursing. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will contribute directly to residents’ recovery while ensuring quality documentation and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor resident health, vital signs, and document changes
- Support residents with daily activities (ADLs)
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and therapists
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to protocols
- Provide educational and emotional support to residents and families
- Keep the environment safe and follow all infection control measures
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license
- Clinical proficiency in medication administration and wound care
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
