The Diagnostic Technician (Educational Diagnostician) supports the special education department by conducting formal and informal student assessments and collaborating with staff and families to design effective educational strategies. The role involves consultation, program management, and communication to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive student referrals and conduct educational assessments.
• Compile and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Provide assessment reports and support individualized education planning.
• Develop staff training and assist teachers with IEP implementation.
• Maintain all required records and documentation.
• Participate in program evaluation and professional development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of assessment tools and processes for special education.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and parents.
