About the job

Join Athens Health and Rehabilitation as a Registered Nurse on either the evening or night shift, providing quality long-term and rehabilitative care in a collaborative, home-like environment. RNs deliver care focused on resident respect, safety, and improved health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care during overnight or evening hours
  • Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
  • Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary teams
  • Educate residents and families on care plans
  • Ensure accurate, compliant documentation
  • Supervise and support CNAs and other team members
Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
  • New graduates encouraged to apply
  • Experience in geriatrics or long-term care preferred
  • Clinical protocol and regulation knowledge
  • Compassionate communication skills
  • BLS/CPR certification required
